קיבוץ גלויות

יש לי חברה טובה ואהובה, שכמוני, אוהבת לעשות שופינג בכל הזדמנות. אך הייתה תקופה מסוימת בחייה שבכל פעם שראיתי אותה, (וזה קרה הרבה!) היא לבשה שוב ושוב את אותם הפריטים. כמובן שהתרעמתי עליה וטענתי: יש לך "ערימות" של בגדים בארון, למה אינך נהנית מהם?

הלבן הלבן הזה Give me some of that white stuff

אני יושכת כעת בביתי המחומם בזמן שבחוץ מסך לבן של שלג יורד על עירי הקסומה, ומתחיל להערם קמעא על הגגות והעצים. אני מביטה בלובן השמיימי הזה שנשלח אלינו הישר ממעל וליבי מתחמם.

I'm sitting in my well heated house, as a stream of snow falls on my enchanted city, and starts to pile up on the rooftops and the trees. I'm looking at this heavenly white that has been sent to us straight from above and my heart warms up.

בגדים מתובלנים - Spicy clothes

בימים קרירים כאלו כל שמתחשק לנו הוא להתרכבל לנו בבגדים חמימים ולשתות כוס שוקו מהביל תוך כרסום עוגיות מתוקות, והאזנה לגשם הדופק על החלונות. או לחילופין לשתות מרק חם ומתובל ולהתענג על החמימות והטעמים השונים היורדים להם במורד הגרון ומחממים את העצמות.
אינני מתכוונת לרשום  מתכונים או להמליץ על מאכלים שונים. רוצה אני לשתף אתכם באהבה שלי לבישול אחר..
להתלבש זה קצת כמו לבשל, מערבבים קצת מזה וקצת מזה, בוזקים מעל קצת מלח וקצת פלפל (אקססוריז שונים) ומקווים לתוצאה טעימה ומיוחדת.
בחורף הזה יש באפשרותינו לשלב בין הבגדים בצבעים השונים של התבלינים ולהרגיש חם גם מבחוץ וגם מבפנים.

On these cold days all we feel like doing is snuggling up in our warmest clothes, munching on some yummy cookies as we sip on a cup of hot coco, while listening to the rain patter on the windows. Or else, indulging in spicy hot soup enjoying its warmth and the different flavors going down the throat and warming the bones.

I'm not going to talk about different casseroles or recipes. I want to share with you my love of another kind of cooking...

Putting on clothes is a little bit like cooking, mixing a little bit of this and a little bit of that, sprinkling some pepper and salt (different accessories) and hoping for a special and tasty outcome.

This winter, we can combine the different colors of spices to feel warm from the inside and the outside.
